Welcome!
This system has been in hiding for a long time, and now it's back! And all
the old data that has been entered in by contributers is still here too.
With the introduction of Windows 98 and Windows 2000, the system has become
a little stale (yes, it has been that long), so I will soon be adding
features to support these operating systems (ie. adding a win2k icon and
changing the win95 icon to a win98 icon :) ).
Also on the to-do list:
![]() | An amendment system whereby anyone (including people who haven't registered) can post messages that get tacked onto the end of an entry, much like the PHP annotated manual. |
![]() | An "items added/changed today" page |
![]() | A "forgotten your password?" script. Currently all you can do is email me. |
So if you've just stumbled across this page and you have any knowlege at all about Windows programming, please consider registering and adding your two cents worth. Even one entry would be great - if 10000 people each registered and quickly whipped up an entry, that would cover a rather large portion of the registry.
The Dictionary also has a mailing list, regdic@knobbits.org. To subscribe, send a message, any message, to regdic-subscribe@knobbits.org.
